Innovation aus Tradition - for more than 65 years!

In 1949 my parents Inge and Wolfgang Dreve started a dental laboratory in downtown Unna laying the foundations for our family run, medium-sized manufacturing company.

The basis for the success of Dreve company is the handcrafted manufacturing of custom medical devices, dentures in the beginning and later on earmolds. However, from the start my parents initiated also the development and production of innovative materials and manufacturing processes according to our guiding principle: "Innovation aus Tradition" which means innovation based on tradition.

With her daily, untiring effort and her wealth of experience my mother is not only an example and inspiration for me but for all Dreve employees.

The introduction of CAD/CAM technologies for the manufacturing of earmoulds and ITE shells meant for us a fundamental change in technology we have been successfully dealt with. In January 2004 we implemented an earmold production based on the FotoTec^® stereolithography process as the first earmold laboratory worldwide. Today we also run CAD/CAM laboratories in Singapore and the USA.

Our worldwide recognized Otoform^® Impression Materials and OtoVita^® Care Products prove that we do not only focus on production technologies and materials. Apart from our OtoVita^® consumer care range we have developed OtoVita^® Professional Cleaning Products for the hearing aid retailer that meet all requirements of retailing shops with a certified quality management system.

Today we employ more than 350 people and deliver to customers in over 100 countries. Our 65-year-story of success would not have been possible without the continuous effort and creativity of our motivated employees as well as the great interest and loyality of our customers. Our sustainable, organic growth is a confirmation as well as an obligation for us to keep on offering you innovative quality products in combination with a personal and courteous service.
